The Hoxie Mustangs hosted games Saturday morning, September 8, 2007, against the Newport Greyhounds in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade teams. The fifth grade game ended in a score of 12 to 0 in favor of the Greyhounds; the fourth grand game ended in a score of 20 to 12 in favor of the Mustang with the sixth grande game ended in a score of 30 to 0 in favor of the Greyhounds.

Hoxie 7th Grade and Junior Mustangs hosted a game against the Harrisburg Hornets Thursday afternoon and evening, September 13, 2007, at Grider Field. The Hoxie Mustangs traveled to Highland to face off with the Highland Rebels on their home turf. Hoxie's 7th grade Mustangs was defeated by the Rebels with a score of 20 to 14. The Highland Rebels 8th grade team matched their skills against Cedar Ridge's Timberwolves and lost with a score of 8 to 20 in favor of the Timberwolves. Hoxie's Senior High Junior Varsity was defeated by the Highland Rebels with a score of 6 to 0.
