The Jr High District Tournament commenced Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Sherum Gymnasium at the Walnut Ridge School Campus with the following teams in play for the afternoon and evening: Cedar Ridge Lady Timberwolves versus Imboden's Sloan Hendrix Lady Greyhounds which ended in a score of 40 to 25 in favor of the Timberwolves; Cedar Ridge Boys Timberwolves versus the Quitman Boys Bulldogs that ended with a score of 50 to 16 in favor of the Timberwolves; Lynn's Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles versus White County Central Lady Bears which ended with a score of 42 to 26 in favor of the Lady Screamin' Eagles and the Imboden Sloan Hendrix Greyhounds versus Walnut Ridge Bobcats which ended with a score of 52 to 38.

Wednesday afternoon, February 6, 2008, the Junior High District Basketball Tournament resumed with the following teams in play: Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats versus Quitman Lady Bulldogs which ended in a score of 44 to 27 in favor of the Lady Bobcats, the Lynn Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles versus Midland Mustangs which ended with a score of 38 to 37 in favor of the Screamin' Eagles, The Tuckerman Lady Bulldogs versus Midland Lady Mustangs which ended in a score of 37 to 18 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs and Tuckerman Bulldogs versus White County Central Bears which ended in a score of 48 to 32 in favor of the Bulldogs.

Thursday evening, February 7, 2008, the following teams were in play in the Junior District Tournament held at the Sherium Gymnasium in Walnut Ridge: Cedar Ridge Lady Timberwolves versus Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats with a ending score of 32 to 27 in favor of the Lady Bobcats, Cedar Ridge Junior Boys Timberwolves versus the Lynn Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles which ended in the score of 62 to 33 in favor of the Timberwolves, Lynn Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles versus Tuckerman Bulldogs with a finial score of 24 to 43 in favor of the Lady Bulldogs and Imboden's Sloan Hendrix Greyhounds versus the Tuckerman Bulldogs which ended in a score of 57 to 50 in favor of the Greyhounds.

Saturday evening, February 9, 2007, the finials of the 2AA Junior District Tournament being held at Walnut Ridge's Sherum Gymnasium with the following teams in play: the Walnut Ridge Junior Lady Bobcats versus the Tuckerman Lady Bulldogs which ended in a score of 28 to 22 in favor of the Lady Bobcats and the Sloan Hendrix Junior Boys Greyhounds versus the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves which ended in a score of 54 to 57 in favor of the Greyhounds.
